The Paso Robles Lions Club

Chartered in 1939 The Paso Robles Lions club has a single mission. To serve our community. We are made up of men and women who work together to help where there is need. Simply put, “We Serve Paso Robles”

Our Early History
The Paso Robles Lions Club was established on September 6, 1939, with 35 charter members. Early projects included the 1940 painting and erecting of street signage for the City of Paso Robles, tree planting, horseshoe pits, barbecue pits and building of The Veterans Memorial Drinking Fountain in The Downtown Park. The Lions Club erected the War Memorial Flag Pole at the south end of War Memorial Stadium and built the baseball field known as Lion's Field. More recent projects include installing the bricks in the downtown core and installation of bicycle racks and benches for the Downtown Paso Robles Main Street program.

Services
Paso Robles Lions Club provides numerous community service projects like elementary school eyesight screening with vision examinations, decorating the cemetery with flags on Memorial and Veterans Day, Paso Robles High School Athletics Sportsmanship Awards since 1946, youth speaker contests, Paso Robles High School scholarships, BBQ for Bearcat football games, Paso Robles Pioneer Day Been Feed, Spring Street clean up, building of a halloween maze for Paso Robles High School Drama Club fundraiser and Mid-State Fair junior livestock purchase.
